.

Born in 1991 and largely self-taught my main place of inspiration is the dog. I have been lucky enough to have grown up surrounded by what I consider to be one of the most beautiful breeds - the Pointer; the thoroughbred and aristocrat of the canine world and a subject that I am deeply passionate about, a passion that has taught me an in-depth knowledge of canine anatomy, movement and balance.
From a very young age a career in art was always on the cards, taking on my first commission aged fourteen, then being taken on by Sally Mitchell Fine Arts aged sixteen when I had my first limited edition print published; from hereon I have explored a wide range of mediums and subjects, from dogs, to horses and wildlife and mediums ranging from sketches through to sculpture.
My work resides in both public and private collections all over the world, with multiple pieces owned by The Kennel Club and on display in Clarges Street, London, most notably a hallmarked silver sculpture commissioned by Crufts dog show committee in 2016.
I have a deep enjoyment in capturing the fluidity of movement and energy in each piece, showing the essence and individuality of each of my subjects, whatever medium it may be in. The challenge posed by bronze sculpture, to produce a small snapshot of an animal's whole being and energy is fascinating, taking key elements and pulling them all together to capture the individual characterises that make them who they are and translate this into a piece of artwork and an impression of my subject is addictive.
Learning is part of my fascination with my subjects and something that continues to grow and develop as I explore a multitude of different forms, and continue to build upon those that inspire me most.
